We are a 350+ employees strong fintech that has been profitable for 2+ years.Position OverviewExcited about building business, smart enough to identify opportunities and confident enough to deal with CXOs, sell value and survive the negotiation cycles. The position offers you an opportunity to create a billion dollar valued company, and own a part of the same in that journey. Key expectations from Head - Sales are:- Become a Novopay Banking Solutions expert and - combine your knowledge and understanding of the customers business to value sell with creative, tailored and business contextual pitches/presentation- Evangelize Novopay over many channels and media with partners, incubators, accelerators and customers- Own and close complex sales cycles, involving several stakeholders and intra organizational teams- Collaborate with pre-sales to respond to RFI/RFP and business solution along with basic tech feasibility- Create and nurture a strong qualified pipeline and accurately forecast and manage your pipeline, sales activity and revenue attainment- Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement- Hire and develop sales staff- Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required- Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationshipsAccountabilities and Performance :- This section to describe the Accountability - towards Goals and Process Performance measures applicable are:- Revenue (#s to be stated here)- Number of new customers on-boarded- Average deal size- ProfitWhat does it take - Head of sales need to convince prospects to take a chance on an untested product and unknown vendor, need to have the conviction to sell concepts- Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and corporate sales plan for Banking Technology Product companies.- Has the entrepreneurial mindset to work for a start-up, excited about building out processes and capabilities, hands-on and a self-starter- A forward-thinking individual with a proven track record of successfully building and managing Professional and/or Managed Services organizations, including COEs, at scale.- A team leader with strong entrepreneurship and growth mindset, with superior customer relationship management skills.- Has a strong combination of strategic thinking, detailed tactical planning and project management expertise.- Strong organizational and influencing skills across teams, ability to engage stakeholders, to understand change readiness, manage differences and create buy-in.- Successful experience selling Core Banking products/services to Banks and Financial Services Companies of about 15 years.- Outstanding negotiator with strong interpersonal, presentation and solution selling skills- Strong technical aptitude, a proficiency with CRM tools and a passion for discovering new tools to aid sales performance and productivity- Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities- Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data- Successful experience hiring and onboarding sales representatives- Demonstrated ability in all aspects of sales leadership,
