Our application powers customers international supply chain and helps them make better supply chain decisions, lower their costs, reduce transaction time and improve visibility. Job Brief: - We are looking for a Head of Software Product Engineering to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will be responsible to direct and oversee the software engineering function in developing, releasing and maintaining software applications/platforms according to business needs. - Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. You will be part of the core team of the company and will be required to work very closely with the founder. Responsibilities: - Build upon the existing application and convert insights and ideas from our functional experts into tech solutions. Drive strategic innovation to generate new product ideas. - Gather insights from across teams within the Org and conduct external research with customers. Conduct usability studies to understand how customers are interacting with the product and develop enhancements based on the results/analysis. - Continuously improve existing products and features to drive higher conversion or engagement for both internal and external use. - Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle, including problem definition, product strategy/roadmap, customer & driver needs, and requirement/use case definition. - Develop the long term Product roadmap for the distribution business - Hire and build a strong engineering team. - Build, Develop and Lead product management team to analyze and cull breakthrough insights that help unlock growth for our B2B platforms. - Build a culture of data-based decision making using analytics and data science across the organization. This would include managing platform level, consumer level as well as company-level data. Requirements : - Very well versed with MERN stack development. Experience of Microservices is must- Previous Supply Chain / Logistics domain product development experience desired. - Total 8 to 10 years of experience including 4-5 years in software product-based organizations. - Understanding of the supply chain and logistics industry to develop innovative products. Experience in software product development in this domain will be an added advantage - Must have experience in managing product development by leading a team - Experience in working with multiple application, web and database servers - Experience in SOA based architecture and Web Services - Hand-on experiences on RDBMS like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, data queries language GraphQL and server technologies like java, Net or Node.js - Knowledge of Microservices, basic Blockchain protocols and P2P networks. - Experience in front-end frameworks development(Core JavaScript, React.JS). - Good knowledge of Linux Operating Systems. - Working knowledge of web security including XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection etc.,
