Job Description

*Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join our established Lenders, Investors and Insurers team. The core responsibilities will largely relate to transactional based instructions across the UK and on pan-European projects also. The successful candidate will be expected to be well organised, analytical and have an appetite to learn the skills required to carry out Environmental Due Diligence (EDD). It would be desirable if the applicant comes from a geotechnical or environmental consultancy background. The job will involve a mixed and varied workload with often the need to balance a number of different instructions simultaneously. The candidate will be focused on service delivery, often working as part of a larger commission team and supporting to achieve exceptional outcomes for our clients.The candidate will be required to manage their time effectively to meet deadlines.Your Day-to-Day role:

  • The key focus of our EDD advice and reporting is to identify key risks, the severity and quantification of these risks, along with recommendations for mitigation. Our advice needs to ensure that our clients achieve maximum value from their built assets with a clear understanding of risk.
  • Manage and undertake Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments, due diligence reporting and reviews of technical Site Investigation and Flood Risk reports for commercial and industrial assets.
  • Prepare concise and commercially focussed reports that assess potential environmental liability risks.
  • Assist in growing the wider TDD team sustainability offering.
  • To effectively communicate ensuring all information is available for the successful implementation and completion of projects.
  • To represent the company in a professional and diligent manner.
