Job Description

    Responsibilities:Help in building Investment Banking BusinessSupport in origination and successful execution of Private Equity, M&A and StartupsPreparation of Transaction Collaterals Teaser/ Pitch Document, Information Memorandum, Financial Model, etc.Maintain Deal trackersTrack recent development in the sectorCarry out sector research along with the reporting managerMaintain data received from the client and organize data room during the due diligence processManage investor and client expectations concerning dealsSupport the reporting manager in creating a BD pipeline by suggesting new client relationships that can be pursuedExperience Requirements/ Education2+ years of Investment Banking experience or Corporate Finance experienceMBA Finance/ CFA/ CA with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experienceGood presentation and communication skillsComprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance is a mustExperience of making Financial Models/ Valuations, etc. is a mustAttention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvementsStrong entrepreneurial drive and self-starterShould have handled Transaction Collaterals Teaser/ Pitch Document, Information Memorandum, Financial Model, etc.Having been part of closed private equity, M&A or debt syndication transaction is plusKnowledge of relevant regulations (FDI, SEBI, RBI, etc.), term sheets and shareholders agreement is a plusEssential SkillsPowerPoint presentation and excel skillsAbility to handle information load methodicallyEmphasis on accuracy and attention to detailAnalytical and logical thought flowHigh confidence levelExcellent communication skillsVery high level of Ownership and CommitmentAbility to manage networks and relationshipsAbility to think beyond the obvious and draw out from readings and interations with various people
