Job Description

We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development as well as maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones, tablet and connected TV.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build advanced applications for the iOS platform collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs, unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.Write coherent organized code and be able to work as a part of dynamic team. Participate in the ongoing development of applications that meet the needs of our customers. Perform complete testing of Mobile applications, and engaging users as necessary. Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results.Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Launched/ Published at least one iOS app (chat/ communications app preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with Swift and at least 1+ years of experience with Objective-C
  • Experience with Core Data, Core Animations
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Realm, Roam, SQLite, etc.
  • Experience with offline storage, multi-threading, performance tuning and code versioning (MVP, MVVM)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Understanding of Apples design principles and interface guidelines
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments and Shark
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT, Mercurial or SVN
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and social media integration (Facebook, Twitter )
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards will be appreciated
Other Capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into detailed software design documentation
  • Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment
  • Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
  • Experience with encryption, key management and identify management facilities
  • Experience in 24x7 fault tolerant processing environments
