Job Description

• Drafting and prosecution of patent applications with the relevant patent offices worldwide
• Drafting of utility model applications worldwide
and Counselling on exploitation of global IP rights and filing strategies:
• Advise global business units on strategic aspects of IP including the structuring of patent portfolios and aligning IP strategies with business strategies
Education in European Patent Law: You will work closely with an experienced European Patent Attorney (Head of the Department) and receive extensive training in European Patent Law. The training will cover both the theoretical aspects of European Patent Law as well as their application on real cases. Job Requirements (M inimum requirement to carry out the work) Edu c a t i o n
• Ph.D. in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, preferably with educational experience outside of India
• Indian Patent Agent, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or diploma in IP law/patent law

• 2-5 years hands on experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications.
T e c hn i c a l & Professional Knowledge
• Sound knowledge in the respective technical subject (organic chemistry and/or polymer chemistry) and professional IP knowledge
