Job Description

Business Area Description:AWM Technology Team is responsible for varied business functions for Asset and Wealth Management Clients. While the technology team has a global footprint, the India team plays a critical role in owning a large number of functions that are supported in this space. Adoption of cloud, micro-services architecture, testing frameworks, K8, data modelling and managing large data are some of the themes the team is working on while solving the business problem for the clients. The teams culture is collaborative, and everybody displays a zeal to solve problems. Exposure to multiple stakeholders and having thought-provoking technical/business discussions pave way for diversity of thought and constant learning, at the same time enabling us to create the most efficient solutions for our clients globally.Role Description:

  • Provide thought leadership in solving business problems.
  • Interact with the business sponsors and stakeholders
  • Write clean, testable and efficient code compliant with the best software development and SDLC practices.
  • Understand the Firm s flows, data models and get a bigger picture of the problem at hand
  • Question status-quo and challenge business to facilitate strategic discussions
  • Identify problems and escalate in a timely manner along with proposed solutions.
  • Guide juniors in the team and have an open communication with stakeholders.
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and experiment with possibility of applying to our daily work to improve efficiencies.
  • Understand requirements, technical design and ask the right questions to be able to come up with good quality solution.
  • Build a cohesive team and encourage diverse ideas.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 12+ years hands-on application development and support experience.
  • Zeal to learn new technologies.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology and scrum principles.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
