Lead DevOps EngineerJob Locations IN-MumbaiRequisition ID 2hidden_mobile5 Category Research & Development Whats the role You are a talented Lead DevOps Engineer who is a self-motivated, team-player with experience designing, developing and automating production infrastructure and pipelines.Are you ready to work on cutting-edge, cloud-based, large scale, product within an operations team We are expanding at our Mumbai office and are looking for the person who fits in this role.You will develop and support self-service tools, platforms, and automation focused on the deployment and operation of HEREs mapping applications and services. Your expertise in this area will enable HEREs development teams to rapidly develop and deploy key system components and solutions. This role is crucial to as we continue to improve the way we work.Some things you will get to do:* Build self-serve tools/frameworks necessary to quickly and easily deploy and maintain complex applications.* Work with development teams to enable robust CI/CD pipelines and mentor team-mates on standard practices* Work alongside development teams to find the best system architecture for our services and ensure application architectures comply with operational Non-Functional Requirements.* Develop release approach using automated, containerized deployment techniques.* Develop automation scripts, daemons, and APIs to reduce operational overhead.* Evaluate new tools and techniques to drive efficiencies.* Manage Cloud infrastructure services and accounts.* Analyze root causes of issues and provide corrective actions and work within our Problem Management processes to drive continuous improvement and meet customer SLA expectations. Who are you You are a go-getter with 5 to 10 years of experience in designing, developing and automating production infrastructure and pipelines with a BE/BTECH/MCA degree* Good knowledge of multi-tiered application stacks (primarily Java based) with a mix of technologies; including Apache, Tomcat and JBoss* Experience with Mesosphere DC/OS or other container orchestration tool.* Experience with AWS with a focus on SysOps Administration or DevOps Engineering.* Familiar with Eclipse, Maven, GIT and CI servers (e.g. Jenkins/Hudson, GO, Bamboo).* Experience in scripting languages like Perl, PHP, JavaScript, etc.* Experience with relational databases.* Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, XML, JSON, network programming and message exchange systems using tools like SoapUI, etc.* Experience configuring and using monitoring tools for internal datacenter infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, & containers (Nagios, DataDog, & CloudWatch).
