Our goal is to enable a single, unified platform experience. The Platform will allow users to seamlessly model, visualize, run and exchange location-centric workflows for both open and proprietary data layers, services and applications. The experience will allow novice users who have simple location needs to interact through a web frontend as well as expert users who prefer to use an IDE and interact with the platform through a CLI or SDK - and everything in between. Project REAL will bring together HERE capabilities represented by but not limited to Workspace, Marketplace, Studio, Map Data, Location Services, and Applications into a friction-less user experience.The Platform Experience team is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our agile group. Responsibilities:

• Manage Cloud infrastructure services and accounts
• Develop automation scripts, daemons, and APIs to reduce operational overhead
• Deploy and support large and complex systems
• Work with development teams to enable robust CI/CD pipelines
• Be a software craftsman: develop software integration and deployment pipelines
• Be part of an agile team, share knowledge, build best practices for DevOps, pro-active communication
• Self-motivated, well-organized, details-oriented and a strong team player with an agile mindset
• Develop release approach using automated, containerized deployment techniques
• You are able to look at a problem, define and brainstorm ways to achieve an optimal solution and pick the best engineering approach to bring the software productivity.
• Boost the effectiveness of our team by helping us in optimizing our DevOps processes

Who are you

• 5+ years application DevOps and software development experience
• Sc. degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
• Hands-on technical person with experience in IT infrastructure
• Good knowledge of multi-tiered application stacks (primarily Java based) with a mix of technologies
• Proven expertise in GitLab/Bitbucket/TFS advanced usage & administrative skills, Artifactory & maven
• 2 + years in AWS cloud computing (advanced level), AWS cross- access accounts, CentOS, Ubuntu and other Linux distributions.
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) &/or Software as a service (SaaS) combined with 2+ years proven proficiency in the scripting technologies (e.g. Python, Bash shell )
• Strong understanding of Webservices, REST, HTTP and JSON
• 2+ Container Orchestration: Kubernetes/Helm, Mesosphere, Docker Swarm
• Infrastructure Management, calculation of proper sizing of infrastructure, planning skills in setting up, ramping down, migration of environments
• 2+ year - experience on relational and non relational databases Cassandra/Postgres/Oracle DBA/ SQL, PL/SQL
• 2+ year experience with caching key-value store eg-Redis/any Message Queue
• Experience configuring and using monitoring tools for cloud infrastructure, & containers (CloudWatch, Elastic Search, Kibana, and monitoring tools like Logstash, Grafana, and Prometheus)
