Job Description

    Lead - Project Management OfficeIndustry : Construction / Engineering / Cement / Metals - Set up the project management office for one of the fastest growing Steel Players in India- Work on a wide variety of projects and work on key parameters for project successClient Details :- The client is one of the leading manufacturers of integrated flat carbon steel with products across the value chain. - The client provides a collaborative and dynamic work culture, allowing its employees to grow and flourish at a rapid scale.- With a focus on uncompromised quality and high control on the steel manufacturing process, the client is one of the fastest growing steel players in India.- With a global presence, the client provides a wide variety of steel grades to its consumers, and is one of the best in class.Description :- Responsible for architecture / set up a project management office for large projects to ensure projectsare completed at cost and on time- Define the appropriate governance / MIS framework for project tracking- Identification and quantification of key risks and issues in the project execution and their potential impact on timelines and cost. Define appropriate risk mitigant strategies- Setting up suitable IT tools to ensure project status is available on a timely basis- Design of suitable visual dashboards for different leaders of the organizationProfile :Technical :- 7 to 8 years experience in Operations, Strategy or consulting roles, with Mining and Metals or industrial exposure preferred- 3 to 4 years total experience in operations / financial planning / projects related experience- MBAs or CAs with strong analytical background and exposure to IT tools- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science or Economics from top tier university plus MBA from top-tier B-SchoolBehavioral :- A strong interpersonal and project management skills, able to effectively interface with partners at various levels of the organization, from individual contributors to senior executives- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, Power-Point- Highly organized, self-motivated and results driven, able to develop and drive structured analysis and synthesize work- Inquisitive, with excellent problem solving and written/oral communication skills- Comfortable working in collaborative, flexible fast changing environment- Should be able to work independently and deliver high quality results- Should be great at number crunching and analytical skills; strategy formulation and P&L understanding; project management & team working- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity & confidentiality- Should be creative, thinking out of box and must be comfortable working in a highly entrepreneurial environmentJob Offer :- High exposure in setting up the PMO office- Global exposure and a great working culture with an great opportunity to grow through the ranks- Work on a wide variety of projects and develop great work experience in project management- Grooming on leadership aspects and become a new age leaderTo apply online please click the Apply button below.
