Job Description

    The Role Responsibilities
    • Identify issues in requirements, design specifications, application architecture and product documentation.
    • Develop Test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints.
    • Develop test Bed and verify test Environments. Set up necessary monitoring / profiling tools to identify and isolate performance bottlenecks.
    • Perform functional and technical test execution activities (automated tests, where applicable) as per GTM engagement level in the project.
    • Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders during Test planning and execution phases where applicable.
    • Log software product defects and track it to closure.
    • Contribute to accurately estimate work requirements.
    • Report status promptly to the test manager.
    • Support business in case of any emergency during weekend or demand.

    • The Liquidity Technology team requires a test analyst to work on the Intra Day Liquidity project centred around the liquidity risk and balance sheet management systems to meet a range of regulatory and internal requirements.
    • This role will sit within the Liquidity Technology department and will work closely with the business solutions team, project managers, business change and development teams on various projects.
    • The successful candidate will be an experienced tester comfortable with a role where testing and test case automation will consume 50% of the time and the remainder on activities supporting the change process.
    • The tester will work on a project to implement new SAP Liquidity Management Solution in the bank and replace the existing system, as well as supporting the change impacting the existing application from its surrounding ecosystem.

    Our Ideal Candidate Mandatory Skill Sets
    • Professional experience of 6 - 8 years in the testing domain in financial services industry.
    • Banking domain i.e. Investment banking or Transaction banking or Liquidity management.
    • Good exposure to Selenium and familiar with DevOps, Automation framework (TestNG / Cucumber) and be able to drive Automation in candidates projects.
    • Strong communication, Interpersonal, Learning and organizing skills matched with the ability to manage stress, Time and People effectively.
    • Excellent exposure to Waterfall and Agile delivery with proven efficiency and track record. Relevant certification is added advantages.
    • Well versed with QA control activity i.e. Test plan, Test Strategy, Traceability matrix, Test Closure Report.
    • Handling of SQL Complex queries, able to reconcile data, macros knowledge, Java / Java scripting.
    • Experience on tools like JIRA and Confluence. Able to create report dashboard.
    • Should be able to drive all testing activity with less supervision.
    • Experience of working on HTML / XML / Flat file / CSV.
    • Good in Database and API automation using JAVA
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent in functional testing.
    • Database / API automation.
    • ISTQB foundation level.
    Secondary Skill Sets
    • Any knowledge on SAP products and particularly SAP-LMS (Liquidity Management Solution) would be a definite advantage.
    • Experience in the testing domain using SAP products a definite advantage.
    • Experience and knowledge in the domain of Treasury, Balance Sheet, Liquidity risk an advantage.
    • Knowledge of bank statements, swift MT messages, Real time payments, XML messaging formats is a definite advantage.
    • Knowledge of reconciliations between ledgers and bank statements, real time reporting requirements is good to have.
