Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greeting of the day!Role Summary- Manager- Accounts (Consolidation)Key Business Objective :-Accounting and preparation of the Entity Financials for client under Indian GAAP, Ind AS, CompaniesAct, and preferably any other GAAPs like IRFS , UK and US GAAP .Group and step level consolidation under Local GAAP, Ind AS, Companies Act, IRFS UK and USGAAP of large multiple entitiesOverall accountability for SAP entries, Cost Control, Regulatory and Statutory ComplianceManagement reports and accounting for Entity entries and Trial Balance.Audit compliance and liaison with Inhouse and external consultants for compliance and statutoryauditsRole Summary:-Liaison with Banks, Accounts, finance, Commercial, Budgetary, Treasury & Accounts payable Team ofthe company for accounting purpose.Co-ordination with stake holders for financial reporting and coordination with Consolidation team.Compliance of Audit process and bringing zero queries towards audit complianceFinancial MIS - Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly, Yearly Under Local and Indian GAAP.SAP and TALLY (QUICK BOOKS knowledge preferable) accounting and reconciliation of intercompanyBalances.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreparation of annual Financials of subsidiary companies, Cash flow Statement and analysis thereofunder Indian GAAP, Ind AS, Companies Act, IRFS UK and US GAAP .Preparation of Notes to Accounts of the Company, Directors Reports and Corporate Governance.Preparation and posting of Elimination entries (Intra-group transactions revenue and balance sheetitems). Reconciliation of ledger accounts and scrutiny, monitoring of the KPIs, revenue & cost lineitems, exceptions reporting, if any.Independently handling of statutory audit of the entities.Ensuring tax and statutory Compliances of entities under Local GAAP and laws.Weekly reporting on the accounting status to clients.Monthly Intercompany reconciliation and elimination.Ability to work on SAP , books of accounts independently.Key Performance IndicatorsTimely Preparation of Financial accounts as per statutory requirements under the law (Timeliness).Ensure audit and Coordination (Accuracy, Timeliness).Ensure accounting process / audit process and related payments (Accuracy, Timeliness).MIS & statutory compliances (Accuracy, Timeliness).Contact with OthersInternal Auditors, Tax consultants, Consolidation and Corporate Team, Legal Team, IT Team, FunctionalHeads, Regulatory Team]External Auditors, Vendors, Regulatory and Secretarial Team.For People Management Positions OnlyNo of people directly supervised: 1Total size of the team: 3Qualification & ExperienceEducational / Academic Qualification Essential: CADesirable: CPAProfessional Certifications / AdditionalQualificationOther Criteria(If not addressed above) Exposure to compliance and secretarial mattersCandidate Specification Strong on Analysis.Fluency on Communication.Ability to handle demanding work pressures.Worked in reputed organization with experience in finalization and consolidation of accounts.Preference will be given for candidates from telecom industry.Good academic background.Analytical skills.Experience of Accounting StandardsTechnical/Functional SkillsWell versed in SAP- GL and other core accounts module.Competency & Behavioral Skills: (Use E to denote Essential and D for Desirable)Excellent written and verbal communications.AssertiveAbility to lead and interact effectively in teams.
