Job Description

  • Awareness and understanding of Bank s strategy
Business
  • Good understanding and experienced with key Client Onboarding, Maintenance and Offboarding processes related to CCIB segment.
Processes
  • To maintain high quality Client Static Data in SCI and TP system.
  • To manage the relationship between Group CLDM, Project Managers, Incountry, COBAM and the business units as well as between other team members within CLM Ops.
  • To coordinate with respective Project Managers and in Country Stakeholders and ensure that all activities are completed as per agreed Timelines.
  • To manage the resources allocated to the unit in an efficient manner.
  • to build a cohesive team that could work in a highly collaborative manner
  • Keep the team highly motivated to deliver high quality results
  • Managers should be handson to undertake activities/tasks on their own as the role demands while supporting and managing other members of the team
  • Have the ability to distil facts/information from multiple sources and appropriately develop a structured approach to delivery of service
  • To ensure error free work with no operating losses
  • To function as a single point escalation for the country supported by them for all CLM Ops related activities.
  • Assist in coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of Operational Risk and in implementation and management of OR within the Unit.
  • Direct and develop the hub teams to adhere to and follow CLM Ops strategy and support the group driven initiative across all hubs and teams

  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.

  • Identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures

  • Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business

  • Lead the [India/ GBO / CLM Ops/Data Quality to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • CEE, Product owners, GBO
Other Responsibilities
  • Creating high quality data analytic reporting and cleanup processes based on business plans.
  • Generating Data quality analysis/cleanup processes and delivery schedules.
  • Managing data analysis & cleanup exercises.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Technological teams to arrive at a Strategic or Tactical solutions for the exceptions identified in SCI & TP systems.
  • Definition of Data fields across SCI and TP systems and subsequent maintenance.
  • Be in constant coordination with the Business /Operations team to understand Policies and Procedures, changes to such Policies and Processes and impact on the Data quality monitoring process
  • To ensure error free work environment by instilling proper controls.
  • Timely review of SLA,Process Catalogue and DOIs
  • Integration of business/operation Policies and Procedures to Data analytics and cleanup
  • Undertake new project responsibilities in terms of planning and execution
  • Ensure timely escalation to Senior Management of any exception noticed related to work and environment.
  • Ensure that the agreed targets are met.
  • Broadcasting performance dashboards for consumption of various management teams
  • Ensure that all Daily/Monthly/Quarterly reconciliations are generated and delivered on time
  • Ensure DOIs are reviewed and updated periodically.
  • Ensure that Key Control Standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure adherence of clean desk policy of SCGBS.
  • Ensure that a periodic update is sent to stakeholders and Project Managers on the status of the project / Reconciliation activity

  • Bachelor s degree with at least 8+ years of experience in Banking.
  • Strong track record of supporting and working alongside front-office staff.
