Job Description

    Currently we have an opening with a leading European shipbuilding industry in Mumbai.Position: Manager ElectricalJob Type: Permanent- Full TimeJob Location: After a period of time in Lower Parel, Mumbai, the individual will be sent to Karwar, Karnataka. Need to be flexible in relocating. The company will provide accommodation and transportation.Reporting to: Senior Manager ElectricalExperience: 10 to 12 yearsEducational Qualification: BE Electrical/BE Electronics/BE Electrical & ElectronicsInvestigation and troubleshooting on various electrical and electronics equipment. Thedetailed responsibilities are mentioned below:Defect analysis and rectification of Electrical and Electronic equipment. Preparation of Defect Intervention Report for the same.Communication with back office and other counterparts vide technical queries and proposed solutions.Supporting the customer for setting to work, trials and commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment.Maintaining and updating software configuration status for Electrical and Electronic equipment.Liaison with OEM representatives at site for defect analysis and rectification, training on equipment and system.Management of macro program for specific repairs or onboard evolutionsShould be required to undertake additional tasks within our capabilities and which are consistent with the position hold.Repair of electrical and electronics equipment onboard submarine/ship.Skills RequiredElectrical & Automation: Theory and practiceRepair of Electrical & Electronics EquipmentProgram management: PracticeMicrosoft suitesFrench language (if possible)Location: Initially situated in Mumbai, subsequently transferred to Karwar, Karnataka.Working Days: Mon- FriWorking Hours: 8.30 AM-5.30 PMInterview Process1.
