Job Description

    The role holder will be responsible for end to end category management of Wood Working Adhesives (WWA), covering Products, influencers and innovation. The incumbent will be responsible for driving the complete Product lifecycle for key Products in Wood Work Adhesives. He will be responsible for Innovation and renovation of existing products. The incumbent should be at comfort, in a start-up like environment and must demonstrate at work, a strong challenger mind-set with proven abilities to drive Cross-functional teams and influence critical stakeholders on key pillars of the strategy for the Wood Working Adhesives business. Responsibilities: Responsible for driving the Margin in the WWA category through coordination with R&D, procurement, SCM and other internal stake holders Drive New Product Development in WWA Category Analysing data and Customer insights to determine industry benchmark Develop and execute strategy for Super Premium & premium products Building and driving relationships with R&D to drive innovation and developed industry leading products in the category Close Coordinate with Drive Digital Transformation team to increase sales and revenue Develops insights on competition- through price benchmarking, developing competition dashboard- segment wise, product wise in our areas of operations Accountability: P&L of the WWA Category Drive New Product Revenue Key Interactions Internal and External Stakeholders Internal Stakeholders Sales Teams Market and Competition intelligence, Execution, Footprint Establishment Supply Chain Procurement and flow of Products to markets; management of complaints Sales Excellence Capability Building Business Channel Strategy, Market Insights and GTM strategy External Stakeholders Distributors and Dealers Market Intelligence, Consumer Insights, Engagement Users/Influencers Product application and Insight generation Agencies App/ Web interface, Activation and Merchandising Educational Qualifications / Professional Experience Qualifications - MBA from a Tier 1 & 2 B School Experience Relevant experience of 10-12 Years Preferred Industry/Companies- Adhesives, Laminates, Ply, Hardware, Paints, Lubricants & Lighting Key Skills & Competencies Combination of Strategic thinking and Execution Orientation Research & Analytical mind-set Passion for solving problems Customer centric approach Ability to drive cross functional teams towards a common objective CTC Range 50-60 (Depending on the candidate)
