  • Financial Markets Middle Office delivers first class trade support, business enablement and accurate/timely representation in order to meet obligations to clients, counterparties and regulators. We are product and process subject matter experts aligned to the Global Financial Markets business providing follow the sun support with continuous improvement mindset and industry connectivity.
Business
  • Product specialists who understand business priorities and strategy, define optimal solutions leveraging industry leading facilities and influence behaviour through countenance
Role and Responsibilities
  • First point of contact locally for FM Sales/ Trading Desk/ FM Ops.
  • Ensure that the transactions are correctly booked into the Transaction Processing system by verifying against source documents (including Nepal FX Forwards).
  • Ensure that approved product programs and country addendums are in place for new deals traded whenever possible.
  • Understand trade lifecycle from front to back and be the subject matter expert and go-to person for the core systems processing
  • New business enablement and solutions, partner to deliver strategic FM initiatives
  • Own query remediation, trade life-cycling and other day-to-day processing, ensuring timely escalation, in order to minimise risk
  • Provide Cost save Ideas & implement.
  • Adhering to regulatory policies.
  • Attend to deals booking related queries & investigations.
  • Highlight any discrepancies to the Front Office, relevant downstream depts and superiors.
  • Participate in evaluating system enhancements, UATs and projects.
  • Provide support to the various Middle Office sites.
  • Work closely with the Front Office and relevant downstream depts in supporting any new products or businesses.
  • Constant review of DOI to ensure complete and accurate recording of process procedure.
  • Escalation of all exceptions, risks and KCS / Phoenix breaks.
  • Ensure audit issues are being addressed and solutions provided.
  • Providing support for Central Counterparty (CCP) related projects.
  • Ensure MORFX activities are managed.
