Manager Network Operations

Job Description

• To manage operationally and troubleshooting of the Bank enterprise LAN/WAN/MAN networks and be responsible to the operation of the in-country LAN/WAN/MAN networks in charge of.
• To manage continuous and proactive network monitoring and controlling the network response, throughput, and availability to ensure that the SLA with the Bank Business are enforced.
• To manage network throughput analysis, and capacity planning for the Bank networks.
• To manage external vendors that provide the Bank with solutions and ensure that they can deliver the SLA the Bank has agreed with.
• Service Management of Network Managed Services
• To ensure processes, guidelines and procedures are in place and enforced for quality in installation, running, operating and support of the Bank networks. To review & fine-tune the existing processes, guidelines, and procedures by comparing with the industry best practise.
• To evaluate the technology solutions delivered by business and IS and develop the acceptance criteria and process for the operability and supportability of the solutions.
• To ensure that technical solutions proposed satisfy both the immediate and long-term needs of the business, and ensure adherence with the Group s technical and security standards in all aspects of the team s activities.
• To manage the network solutions in the provision of business recovery sites to give the ability to conduct business transactions and monitor exposure in the event of a disaster and to coordinate and to conduct network switching for the disaster recovery and business continuity plan exercises to those systems/infrastructures twice a year as per audit requirement.
• To ensure that existing and new systems conform to Bank networking standards.
• To assist IT Managers by providing necessary information and providing solutions and implement the agreed audit findings actions for internal and external audits.
• To assist IT Managers by providing necessary information for annual budgeting purpose on the aspects of network resources, equipment and services procurement and maintenance.
• To look after Network outsourcing and manage outsourced workers to run smooth network BAU.
Strategy Awareness and understanding of the Group s business strategy and follow appropriate to the role Business Support to all business groups for Networks Operations and coordinate with regional teams on BAU task. Processes Follow all group defined processes and standards for networks management. People and Talent Ensure employee satisfaction and efficiency at work. Risk Management Responsible to mitigate a risk, identify problems, monitor network designs and configurations and control securities to avoid any risk. Governance Coordinate with Group Internal Auditors on their queries and with regional teams to improve network security and minimize security risk under consideration of group processes. Our Ideal Candidate Basic Qualification: Bachelors or MSc-IT (Network Security)Certifications/Licenses:
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) Routing & Switching
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Routing & Switching
• JNCIA (Juniper Certified Network Associate) Enterprise Routing & Switching
• CCIE Datacentre (Written)
Trainings:
• CCIE Datacentre boot camp
• VMware NSX Virtualization
• Juniper JNCIP network Security
Technical- Must Have:
• 5+ Years management experience with internetworking protocols, including routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP) and routed (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX) protocols
• 5+ Years management experience with various security platforms and designs such as Juniper SRX configuration/troubleshooting and Cisco NGFW appliances.
• 5+ Years management experience with configuring and managing LAN/WAN/MAN devices such as switches/routers etc.
• Managed implementations, and troubleshooting of complex, enterprise networked solutions
• Experienced with SNMP/RMON configurations and on Network management software
• Experienced with all Switching Protocols and concepts and handled network switching infra of 1000+ users.
• Experienced with bandwidth management/capacity planning tools
• Experienced with platform architectures (e.g. client-server, n-tier, thin client)
• Initiate and Involve in project, survey and feasibility
• Fault management and rectification of problem.
• Adhere to all compliance policies and procedures
Technical Nice to have
• Strong Awareness of financial organizations network securities, compliances and IT networks audit.
