JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

The Corporate IT Manager will lead the large-scale projects cutting across India plants and Global subsidiaries for SAP and Non- SAP applications. He will also support in driving the IT PMO activities of IT department.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Corporate IT Projects
• Cost planning and budgeting for the strategic projects and their rollouts.
• Work with IT team in application/software evaluation process.
• Designing applications roadmap and socializing the same.
• Should be able to get business alignment and approval for IT driven projects.
• Should be able to finalize and align the project scope and phases with business and IT team.
• Should connect with internal IT stake holders for resource management.
• Manage vendor evaluation, RFX processes and commercial negotiation with vendors along with IT procurement team.
• Conduct periodic status review meetings with IT and business stake holders.
• Should be responsible for successful execution of projects and delivery.
• Should be able to work with global teams with different cultures, languages and working styles.
• Should be able to present the value realization & ROI post implementation.

IT PMO

• Work as IT PMO lead and manage the IT governance and IT PMO processes.
• Should be able to lead the IT PMO team.
• Conduct and coordinate IT PMO stage-gate & IT Governance meetings.
• Work with IT project managers and periodically review the project status.
• To ensure that projects/programs are running in a repeatable, standardized manner.
• Publish dashboards for all major Projects for Project status & Budget compliance.
• Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality.
• Facilitate identification, resolution of issues and mitigation of risks.
• Should be able to design and establish processes for effective IT governance in alignment with IT senior management.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

• Minimum of 12 years IT related experience.
• Approximately 8 years of experience in an IT Project Management related role.
• SAP experience is a must. Minimum of 5 to 7 projects experience required.
• Proven track record in Project Management for large, complex, highly integrated application landscapes with specific knowledge of SAP programs with a global template, single production instance.
• Should have experience in managing custom applications projects or developments on Java, DotNet, etc. & Off-the-Shelf Application implementations.
• Excellent management, interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of coordinating meetings, tracking and requesting updates.
• Experience of working and Team Management with multi-location teams.
• Experience of working in large programs of work.
• Experience of leading large teams in project delivery.
• Excellent experience in client-facing roles specially with Indian customers.
• Ability to build good relationships both within own team and with other teams.
• Ability to bring multi-disciplined teams, in a matrix organization together into one delivery team.
• Ability to comprehend strategic not just tactical direction.
• Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people within and outside of IT to balance demands.
• Ability to deal efficiently with escalations & difficult situations/people under pressure.
• Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and lead virtual cross-cultural and cross-border teams.
• Having knowledge/experience of USFDA audit requirements will be added advantage.
• Knowledge on Computerized Systems Validation (CSV), SAP validation experience will be highly preferred.
• Experience of Pharmaceutical company is highly desirable.
