Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssume responsibility for all project contractual activities from Hand Over from BD/Proposal Groupuntil all relevant contractual obligations are complete and all relevant contractual issues areresolved/settled.o Oversee major functions of contract management, including drafting, evaluation, negotiation andexecution in liaison with BD, Finance and Legal Team.o Identification of Customer/Consortium and other third party obligations and development andimplementation of the Project Contract Commercial Plan, including Project Claim Strategy.o Liaise with Project Planning Manager to ensure Contract Programme and appropriate schedules forsubcontracts are produced and maintained, to support Project Claim Strategy.o Support project risk and opportunity identification and analysis. Support the management of risksand opportunities by development and implementation of appropriate Project Contract CommercialPlan.o Preservation of MSPL s rights and entitlements as provided in the Contract. Ensure proper noticesare given in line with contract requirements. Management of claims to/from customers andconsortium partners.o Ensuring appropriate recovery from third parties.o Management of customer Variation Requests/Change Orders.Desired Candidate Profile8-10 years of contracts managementso University Degree in Engineering, Additional qualification in Law would be preferable but notmandatory.o Experience in large complex capital EPC projects, Power Projects and preferable exposure toProjects in India / Global.o Demonstrated experience in preparing and interpreting complex and sizeable contracts, preferablywithin the EPC Parameters in Infrastructure & Power Projects in India/Global.o Strong fundamentals and understanding of Contract Law, Arbitration Laws Statutory Requirementapplicable to such Contracts.o Technical understanding about, Term Sheet, EPC Contracts (FIDIC Based or other InternationalContract Forms), Service Contracts, Supply Contracts.,
