Dear CandidateGreetings of the Day!We have an excellent opportunity for Supervisor Metrology for a well-known companyLocation - Bandra - Candidates willing to relocate are considered from PAN IndiaExp - 5+ Years in Metrology Calibration and NABL/Audit and Supervisory experienceCTC - Upto 17 LPARole -Job Role: Improves methods for the analysis of gemological measurement equipment to increase the quality of data; and/or develop new measuring instruments; implements the change process throughout the laboratories globally.- Interacts with external vendors, as well as internal customers in quality control,process development, research laboratories, and senior management to do thefollowing:- Works jointly with the R&D team to improve existing or develop new measuringinstruments. Serves as interface between research teams and production teams.- Applies advanced mathematical and engineering knowledge (measurementscience, mathematics, physics, and engineering) to develop methods for analysis,and conduct calibration of devices and instrumentation, as follows:-Recommends calibration standards and calibration program to establishinternational traceability for test and measuring equipment.- Identifies and utilizes appropriate test and measurement procedures-Assists the Global instrumentation team with new device assemblies and validation.-Performs Measurement Uncertainty analysis for measuring instruments.- Writes or assists in the development of test plans and test procedures- Uses statistics to analyze measurement standards and processes- Analyzes and solves calibration problems.- Performs corrective actions to address identified measurement problems-Performs Risk analysis for various processes using FMEA techniques.- Evaluates new calibration methods and procedures based on analysis of data- Monitors and maintains calibration validity in laboratory and/or quality systems.Limited Job Description- Maintains responsibility for the following instruments, plus others as needed:microbalances, 3-D non-contact measuring devices, color analysis measuringdevices, and spectral analysis measuring devices.- Maintains responsibility for the development of maintenance and calibrationschedules and corresponding tests, as well as management of relateddocumentation.- Maintains responsibility to ensure that laboratory instrumentation at multiplelocations is properly calibrated and on schedule to comply with establishedguidelines.- Maintains responsibility for a quality management system and its development,documentation, and implementation to domestic and international requirements.- Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning laboratory equipment as necessary tomaintain critical workflows; performs routine calibration and maintenance ona variety of complex analytical equipment and instrumentation.- Completes other assigned test-related tasks.- Keeps updated on knowledge of new technologies, processes, and methods.- Travels domestically and/or globally using commercial transportation resources.- Communicates effectively, gets along with coworkers and management, anddeals with others effectively and professionally under pressure.Ensuring that all policies and procedures established under the LaboratoryManagement Systems (LMS) are acknowledged and implemented at all levels of thedepartment in alignment with requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.Share cv hidden_email or WhatsApp - hidden_mobileWith your Details - Current CTC, Expected CTC & Notice PeriodRegardsHR Kajalhidden_mobileSaffronbizz Solutions
