Job Description Conducts/Participates in daily briefings and monthly communication meetings to discuss various aspects of beverage service and preparationTrains personnel according to established procedures; Conducts orientation of all new Ambassadors and ongoing training of all AmbassadorEstablishes effective Ambassador relations and maintains the highest level of professionalism, ethic and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, heads of departments and AmbassadorsEnsures the grooming and general appearance of bartenders and cocktail waitresses conforms to Hotel standardsEnsure wherever possible that employees are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimizationTreats complaints of harassment and discrimination promptly and confidentiallyTreats customers and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect and sensitivityIdentify and deal with issues which may cause cross cultural conflict or misunderstandingFollows up with each Ambassador to ensure assigned duties are carried outAttention to detail, perfectionistConsistently monitors and adheres to Sofitel operating standards and service cultureLuxury service oriented and proud to extend serviceDeals diplomatically and skillfully during guest interactionsTakes every opportunity to be a sales person and promote special events, promotions and facilitiesWork Experience Assists the Manager in every aspect of manning and organization of the entire bar operations to the standards established by the HotelResponsible for supervising all activities of personnel engaged in preparing and serving of beverages in all beverage outletsEnforces safety regulations and sanitation standards secures all storage areas for beveragesControls the requisition of beverages and all supplies to maintain par stock for smooth operationBriefs personnel on preparations, service and content of drink listPossesses working knowledge of beverages and cocktailsExecutes the general responsibility necessary to minimize costs in operating the restaurant and achieving sales goalsMonitors standard recipes for all beveragesParticipates in the monthly beverage physical inventory and monitors the activitiesEnsures that all necessary arrangements and preparations are made for normal and special events; coordinates activities with Banquet, Engineering and other departmentsEnsures that adequate supplies of materials and requisitions for general supplies are doneEnsures all fixtures and operating equipment is in good working condition,
