Job Description

    Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for smooth and uninterrupted operations between fulfillment center (FC) & related Pickup Points (PUP) networkShould be able to meet end to end turnaround time as per the KPIs defined and work on enhancingnetwork efficiency & productivityImprove productivity in FC network through development of robust and effective operational bestpracticesFollow Standard operating procedures and policies (SOP&P) for warehousing domain and relatedPUPsMeet the profitability goals and successfully lead the team to achieve the organizational goalsShould be able to handle various product categories including Food & Grocery, General Merchandiseetc.Responsible to manage the Inbound/Outbound warehousing operations at region. Support and bepart of expansion and growth planned for the region, with effective use of technology in the entireoperationsSet the strategies and oversee execution to optimize Warehousing cost, efficiency & productivity byidentifying continuous improvement and operational excellence projectsShould be able to identify and address operational bottle necks instantlyResponsible for driving and achieving targets for key Inbound KPIs such as Receiving, Putaway, Orderprocessing, Last Mile Delivery, Inventory AccuracyResponsible for analyzing and presenting network Cost & Service performance trendsFocuses on design and development of new outbound process to manage the growing volumesContinuously ensure usage of Material Handling Equipments to enhance operationsEnsure that all the requirement of regulatory licenses and labor law are followedEnsure safe working environment at the warehouse & related PUPsResponsible to manage team of FC and related PUPsAble to select location for PUPs and negotiate price with the landlords.Should able to handle larger group of employee 300+.Manage external issues.Liasoning and compliances handling.Behavioral Expectations:Excellent communication skill, Good People management skillsStrong in networking, compliances, govt. liasoningProcess oriented and Real-time problem solverAbility to work in dynamic environment with changing goal posts and responsibilities
