    Its your roles and responsibility check it .Network Support EngineerAbout the jobJob DescriptionOur goal is to have a technical support team (TAC team) in place that goes far beyond the tiered support model and breaks the stereotype of standard Network center support. Our engineers here at Ubiquiti Inc. work in a non-siloed environment keeping the Agile methodologies in view thus eliminating the delays in reaching out to a resolution for a problem, ultimately resulting in raising satisfaction and achieving customer success. A Network Support Engineer at Ubiquiti Inc. is considered a top-level engineer, equivalent to a Tier 3 or Escalation Engineer in most support organizations.Responsibilities include1. Support all of Ubiquitis product lines such as the UniFi Network, UniFi Protect, UniFi OS Consoles, UniFi Talk, Ubiquiti ISP, and many more to diagnose and tackle wireless, security, switching, and other various network-related issues reported by Ubiquiti customers.2. Provide L1 support with full accountability on cases from creation to resolution.3. Work directly with the customers and the escalation teams.4. Perform labs to learn and reproduce issues, as and when needed.5. Effectively communicate (email and/or chat) with customers regarding technical issues and customer service inquiries.6. Interpersonal skills and product knowledge are critical in all customer interactions.7. Troubleshoot complex problems with Ubiquiti hardware and software along with recommending corrective action.8. Document customer interactions and recurring technical issues for product development.9. Use acquired knowledge to suggest and contribute to Knowledge Base articles.10. Stay up to date on Ubiquiti features and technology by attending training, participating in team communication, and keeping up with enterprise and networking trends.11. Willingness to work in rotational shifts (24x7 support).Required Technical Skills Knowledge of networking industry, products, and protocols. Knowledge of the following network protocols and technologies (preferred): TCP/IP and OSI model, IP Address and Subnetting, ARP, DHCP, DNS, POE (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt), ICMP, IPv4 & IPv6, and IEEE 802.1Q trunking, Port Aggregation (LACP), Routing protocols, ACL (Standard and Extended), STP/RSTP/MSTP, Wireless LAN Fundamentals, VOIP (SIP protocol), VPN, NAT/PAT, etc. Knowledge of troubleshooting utilities such as tcpdump, Ping, Traceroute, and Wireshark (or similar packet capture and analysis tools) is highly desired but not mandatory. A comfort level with Linux would be an added advantage. Prior support experience is preferred.Required Interpersonal SkillsAn ideal candidate should have: Excellent written communication skills, along with a collaborative approach. The ability to comprehend and triage complex/dynamic customer environments. A strong analytical mind, as is the ability to triage. A high aptitude for both learning and teaching as we continually release new features and products. Ability to clearly and concisely articulate matters to customers. Outstanding customer service skills. Excellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work under stress.Qualification Bachelors/Masters Degree in the field of Engineering/Computer Science/IT. 1 years of experience in computer networking-related problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting.
