Job Description

Position SummaryLINC is seeking experienced faculty members in the field ofNetwork Security and Networking Technologies.As an experienced Faculty Member (LINC Fellow), the candidate will teach students in Masters-level programs studying at premier Australian universities.

  • The role will be part-time (15-20 hours per week) with scheduled weekend availability.
  • LINC Fellows will be actively engaged when a unit (subject) is assigned. A unit will range from 7 to 14 weeks at a time.
  • LINC Fellows are required to be available for 2-3 hrs each afternoon (between noon to 5 pm) to call students every day when they are supporting them on a unit.
  • LINC Fellows are also required to be available between 12 pm to 6 pm each day to respond to student emails.
  • The candidate will have the flexibility to work from the location of his/her convenience.

Desired candidate profile:
  • Minimum Education Qualification: Any of the below qualifications with a distinction of first-class from a top university in India.
  • Doctoral degree in the Computer Sciences / Information Technology domain OR Masters e.g. M.Tech. (Cyber Security), M.Tech. (Information Security), M.Sc. (Information Security) OR Masters (M.Tech., M.Sc., MCA) in Computer Sciences or IT with a PG Diploma in Cyber Security
  • At least 5 years of work experience, including at least 1 year of post-graduate level teaching experience in the field of Cyber Security / Information Security
  • Must possess experience of working in Linux based operating system, be proficient in advanced Linux commands, have practical hands-on experience in tools of the trade such as Wireshark, Cisco Packet Tracer, snort, etc, and be well versed in virtualization, in particular VMWare and VirtualBox.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Empathetic, ambitious, warm, and outgoing personality willing to work closely with people from diverse cultures
  • Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students including host universitys LMS and LINCtrac (training on these platforms will be provided).
  • Must possess a working laptop and have access to high-speed (>2 MBPS) stable internet connection
