For more than 350 years and across the world we have passionately pursued our curiosity to find novel and vibrant ways of enhancing the lives of others.Title - Operational Planning LeadJob Location - Elelctronic city BangaloreIn this global role, you partner with Project Managers, project teams, Clinical Trial Teams and leadership team members from Strategic Business Development Organization (SBDO) to translate the strategy of R&D, development plans and study protocols into a meaningful, robust project plan, which is captured on a project management platform. You track project and study progress through reporting and ensure that plans are a reliable source of information for senior management and decision makers. In addition, you develop and apply project management standards and best practices and advise your business partners on project management methodology topics. This also means that you will contribute to define, develop, and improve processes around financial & resource planning, tracking and reporting of development projects and clinical studies.You partner closely with GPTs to provide insights on project trending and progress scenarios to enable Project Managers (PMs), Clinical Operation Leads (COLs), and Clinical Trial Leads (CTLs) to steer and drive projects proactively.In addition, you provide transparency on timing and sizing of current and future resource needs for portfolio management to enable decision making & prioritisation.Accountabilities include:to provide timeline, budget, and resource planning for research and development projects and clinical studies to project and trial teams, as well as to R&D management, with a focus on Research Projects, Life Cycle Management Projects and regional study portfolio.to create and maintain project and study plans in iMAP/Planisware at highest quality by applying our harmonized methodology and best practices, to enable steering of Healthcare R&D projects at the study, project and portfolio levelto utilize analyses, to bring new insights on project trending and progress projections to study teams, global project teams and senior management, for proactive performance management of studies, programs, and portfolio.to partner closely on an adhoc and regular basis with project managers, clinical trial teams and other business partners

• to ensure that any changes to project/study timelines or demands are reflected timely,
• to share latest data on progress and scenarios
• to gain understanding of insight needs and propose appropriate analysis

work closely with Analytics Leads, and Operational Design Leads to develop analysis relevant for project teams to provide the insights needed. to collaborate effectively with project managers, and project controllers to forecast cost demand of the projects in iMAP on a quarterly and yearly basis as well as to perform periodic variance analysisto contribute to the development of meaningful reporting and performance evaluation of study, project, and program portfolio enabling study teams, project teams and senior management to proactively manage performanceto proactively identify areas for improvements, provide recommendations and implement changes to established business processes, best practices and methodologyother tasks as assigned by line managementStrategic Impact

EducationBachelor or master s degree in sciences, economics or business administrationWork Experience

• At least 5-years of business experience in R&D within the healthcare industry with a focus on project planning.
• Leading or working with or cross-functional, international project teams

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills as well as project scheduling tools (Planisware)
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
• Ability to translate project team s insight needs, and to identify data sources and analytical / reporting solutions to provide insights based on data.
• Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and communicate project/program status reports to all relevant stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize workload.
