Job Description

Oracle Database Administrator L3Hewlett Packard Enterprise advances the way people live and work. We have the expertise to advise, integrate, and accelerate our customers outcomes from their digital transformation.RoleManage and Support customer Oracle Infrastructure as Oracle Administrator as expert Oracle professional and should act as Technical account manager for customer for his Infra-structure.Job Responsibilities

  • Database Upgrade from 11g / 12c 19C
  • Should have experience of working in RAC environment and Oracle 12C & 19C
  • Should work as ORACLE Domain expert supporting and training L1/L2 engineers
  • Work towards DBA process improvements and should able to write scripts for automation for regular task by L1/L2.
  • Installation and configuration of Oracle Database, ASM, RAC.
  • RAW disk configuration and management (mapping RAW space to Diskgroup).
  • Database Load analysis and issue fixing.
  • ASM Management.
  • Configuration of ADG/DG.
  • Ensuring DR is in sync with DC.
  • DR failover/switchover as and when advised by IOCL
  • Pfile and spfile management with proper optimized parameter configuration.
  • Performance Analysis and performance tuning.
  • Backup and Restore Management using RMAN utility.
  • Database and Grid infrastructure upgrade.
  • Patch Management.
  • Issue analysis and fixing the same with help from Oracle support.
  • Database monitoring job automation.
  • Any other DBA activities in order to fix any issues to make sure 24x7 uptime of databases (both DR and DC) )
Skills/Knowledge requirement
  • ORACLE Domain expert supporting and training L1/L2 engineers
  • Sound Knowledge of Virtualization and OS environment (RHEL and Windows) dependencies for Oracle Database.
  • Should able to perform configure DC-DR and should able to perform DC-DR switchover and switch-back
  • Should have good customer management skills
  • Should have experience in performance tuning
  • Should have prior experience of supporting customer Infrastructure
