Job Description

JOB OPENING FOR PMO

  • Role: PMO (Project Management Operations).
  • Location: Mumbai.
  • Experience: 2 to 8 Years.
  • Role Description: The PMO is responsible for gathering of relevant project data and has to produce information to be presented for review by the management. Based on updates by project managers related to a single or multiple projects, the PMO will be responsible for tracking the overall status of those projects. They will assist in standardization of the compilation of information and ways of reporting the same to the management.
  • Must Have Skills: Strong Communication Skills, Presentation Skills and Interpersonal Skills, Vendor Management.
  • Good To Have Skills: PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner, CPMP, CAPM, CompTIA Project+ certification, Associate in Project Management.
  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing resource forecast or creating a resource capacity plan. This will help in understanding the availability of various resources for organizational projects.
    • Enable capture of project requests and ensure each of those requests have enough relevant information that can aid in the assessment of that project.
    • Maintaining an updated status of projects that are underway and those that have requests pending review.
    • Implement prioritization and scoring models for better assessment of the requests that should be approved.
    • Gathering data about project progress and producing reports.
    • Developing standards and processes.
    • Encouraging (or enforcing where necessary) the use of those standards and processes.
    • Managing resources for projects.
    • Delivering training and mentoring project team members.
    • Managing dependencies across multiple projects.

  • Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech (Computers), B.Sc CS/IT, BCA, BBA, MBA in Project Managemet, M.Sc. CS/ IT, M.E./ M.Tech (Computers).

  • Additional Information: Should be willing to travel domestic & International location, must have a valid passport.
