You have the opportunity to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Amazons, fast-growing advertising business, by engaging with media agencies and brands. He/she will work closely with senior Amazon leadership teams as well as the global product organisation to offer the right advertising products to the right advertiser audiences, optimised for the Indian market.The ideal candidate will have a BD/Sales background with revenue responsibility. A proven track record of building partnerships and working in a complex, cross functional environment is a key requirement. He/she must also possess strong communications skills and the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions to internal and external stakeholders. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the future vision for Amazon.This position will be based at the Amazon office either at Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore, with travel as required.ResponsibilitiesServe as a key member of the ad sales team, helping to drive overall Amazon Advertising strategy and business growth.Establish and build strong, profitable, long-term relationships with brandsBuild scale into the business development function by collaborating with internal stakeholders (product, program and marketing teams) to develop joint business plans and upsell opportunities.Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to increasing adoption customers.Key job responsibilitiesThis role will require managing a select set of large accounts in an individual capacity in driving advertising revenue from large brands in the Fashion category. We support brands in achieving their e-commerce goals on Amazon as well as their marketing and branding goals both on and off Amazon properties. The role requires engagement with senior leaders at brands, understanding their goals and strategy, and formulating a plan on how Amazon Ads can help them achieve their aims.About the teamThis role is in the Amazon Ads Field Sales org, serving large advertisers in the Softlines space.     • +3 years of proven experience across digital advertising and managing agencies with a strong understanding of the market landscape.
    • Ability to bring structured thinking to highly ambiguous or operational environment.
    • Proven ability of driving business hands-on (execution) while also being able to build a strategic vision for the area.
    • Comfortable in driving C-suite engagement both internally and externally independently.
    • Creative and strategic vision to build value proposition for clients and advertisements property
    • Experience in Performance advertising or Programmatic advertising or both with Agencies is highly preferable.
    • Strong data and analytical skills as well as experience in applying those skills in the advertising domain
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of teams with different skill sets
    • Bachelors degree; emphasis in Marketing, Advertising, or Business preferred. MBA would be preferred in Marketing.
    • Sound judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule.
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
    • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Adept at making data-driven decisions.
