Job Description

*An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed., *The position requires having a very good knowledge and skills on Cloud Native Environment (CNE). Job Description/Skill Set:Reporting to GSC (Global Consulting Services) Consulting Practice Director / Manager of CGBU (Communications Global Business Unit), he/she will be responsible for:

• Provide implementation such as design, installation, configuration, deployment, validation and post-implementation services for Cloud Native Environment to Oracle CGBU customers.
• Deployment, configuration and customization of common tools as part of CNE such as Helm, Jaeger, EFK, Prometheus, Grafana etc for integration of telco applications and network elements deployed in Oracle and 3rd parties Cloud Native environments.
• Create automated testing for telco applications and network elements using Jenkins.
• Provide installation support for Oracle communications portfolio in coordination with Installation team
• Work with customers to ensure technical compatibility with 3rd party products required for turnkey network implementations.

Qualification, Experience, Communication and Inter-personal skills desired:

• BE/BTech in Computer Science or Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent with 8-15 years experience in a technical work environment.
• Excellent problem solving/analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux/Solaris
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes including deployments, local registry, upgrades, Cluster Size Expansion/ Contraction, Troubleshooting, Tracing.
• Scripting languages such as Perl/ Python/ Shell/ Java Script/ PHP /Html etc.
• Cloud deployment models and concepts - OCI/AWS/Azure
• Configuration Tools: Jenkins, GIT, Ansible, puppet
• Debugging/Ticketing Tool: Redmine, Jira, Valgrind
• Knowledge on the MySQL Cluster and concepts.
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD - advantage
• Understanding of LAN/WAN, routers, switches and VOIP applications in a telephony environment advantage
• Understanding of Telco protocols such as SCTP, DIAMETER, SS7 - advantage
• Strong oral and written communications skills. Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate work status, risks and issues.
• Should be ready to travel on short notices when needed.

1. BRM Billing
2. ECE: Oracle coherence, NoSQL (non-relational database), PLSQL (oracle DB)
3. Telecom domain knowledge
