Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:-Position / Grade: Product Head - Home SolutionsDesignation: Assistant Vice PresidentDepartment, Function: Product ManagementLocation: MumbaiReports To (Position): CPMOThis individual will be responsible for building consumer preference and establishing category leadership for the brand by developing innovative products. Based on deep understanding of market gaps & consumer need states and effective Go-to-market strategies this role will drive the organisation towards achieving its vision of helping each household of India.The ideal candidate will be a top performer and leader, a skilled problem solver, high energy yet outcome focused, super excited about creating a new category, naturally entrepreneurial and possessing a high degree of comfort with fast-pace and an ever-evolving space.Key Responsibilities(That are significant in achieving the objectives of the job)- Consumer Understanding: Develop deep understanding of Consumer and Market need gaps to develop new products & value propositions- Category Growth: Develop the category marketing strategy and product roadmap to grow the category revenue- NPD & GTM: Ensure consistent execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch (GTM), working closely with sales, design and engineering teams- Drive P&L: Own and drive the category P&L- Increase Market Share: Enhance existing product offerings and customer experience to increase market share- Influence User Journey: Work closely with tech team to develop/improve the user journey experience- Improve Customer Experience: Work with teams like Customer Service, Operations etc. to improve our customer retention, identify avenues for cross-selling/up-selling at a product level and improving unit economics- Work closely with business development / sales to meet category revenue targetsExperience Required(Minimum relevant or equivalent industry experience required Please also state what might be desirous / advantageous)- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in B2C Category Marketing /Product Management/NPD role.- Experience of building/disproportionately growing new categories in consumer space will be a big plusAcademia (The minimum / critical qualifications you deem necessary for this profile.)- MBA from a reputed instituteFunctional Skills- Consumer research & Insighting- New Product Development (NPD / NPI)- Innovation- Go-to-market Strategy & execution- Value proposition design- P&L management- User journey design for a digital journeySkills, Abilities, and Competencies(Required to successfully perform this job)- Exceptional consumer focus- Excellent interpersonal skills- Capable of working independently with loads of self-drive.- Attention to detail- Ability to cope with competing demands and multitasking- Process Orientation- Problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills- Growth mindset- Strong collaborator across levels,
