Overview Product Manager will be responsible for working with Sproxil s sales, service delivery & technology team to define the product vision and strategy. Product manager knows how to get things done in an agile product development environment, and has proven his ability to do so. The products are consumer facing, dealer facing and internal process improvement products.You will develops products by identifying potential product gaps; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time -integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies. The ideal Product Manager obsessively seeks to understand the customers perspective, is data -driven, has a bias toward action, and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.Working at Sproxil, you will be part of a fun, energetic and diverse team. While you will be based in Mumbai, India you will work with Sproxil team members across 3 continents to meet customer needs Responsibilities Your primary responsibility will be to manage the relationships with various Sproxil service providers and integration partners and provide customer service to Sproxil clients. This includes: Determines customers needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information. Act as bridge between the end user and the Engineers to ensure that the meaning and intent of the user story is retained through a sprint.Create detailed user stories to convey the meaning of the requirement concisely and accurately. Drive definition of and execution against product go -to -market plan, including phasing and marketingMaintain backlog of product features and develop /refine acceptance criteria together with development team and user communityDefine and manage operational development planning (sprint and release planning) together with UX lead and Technical Delivery leadWork closely with Technical Delivery lead and guide day to day development activities of agile teams.Assist in troubleshooting, prioritization and timely resolution of application issuesIdentify and resolve impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistic challenges, etc.), risks and issues within the team and escalate as neededAssesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.Coordinate and coach large cross -functional teams in multiple geographical locations. Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and /or product or packaging changes.Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return -on -investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and operations.Assesses market competition by comparing the companys product to competitors products.Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.Provides information for management by preparing short -term and long -term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Qualifications & Characteristics An individual with the highest levels of energy, self -direction, determination and team spirit is required, combined with superior communication skills. You must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, superior cultural awareness of how technology is used in developing nations and a desire to work for a fast -paced start -up that can offer significant career growth.You will have these qualifications:Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience in product management with hands on experience in technology, good analytical skills and a strong preference for retail experience.Experience in customer loyalty or digital marketing industryMust have positive attitude and a team player, who knows that success is directly correlated to the relationships you cultivate with your team members, and embrace their achievements as you do your own.Tremendous sense of design.Good understanding of web technologies and their evolutionAbility to multi -task and meet deadlines while paying attention to detailsAbility to work in the Mumbai area in India without relocationFlexible work schedule to accommodate global development teamsMandatory Qualifications / Certifications: - Min.
