    PRODUCT SUPPORT ENGINEERFrom 5 to 9 year(s) of experienceMumbaiJob DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesLogging and keeping records of various issues to help the team prioritize fixes and automation, along with measuring the product qualityDocumenting troubleshooting and problem resolution stepsMonitor alerting channels, analyze problems, diagnose and do occasional code fixes with low to medium complexityTaking ownership of technical issues and working closely with developers to resolve more complicated problemsWork closely with products and developers to enhance the quality of existing productsResolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead interventionAddress urgent issues quickly, work within and measure against customer SLAsWrite scripts (shell, python, ruby, PHP) and aggressively automate manual / repetitive tasksAutomate scripts/tasks for reporting and maintenance, and build anomaly detectors and alerting where ever applicableDevelop smaller complexity features/enhancements in existing productsPerform in-depth research and identify sources of production issues surrounding the applicationWork closely with businesses in managing day-to-day issues, resolve user queriesPerform daily health checks of the application, job schedules, and infrastructure supporting the applicationDevelop and facilitate monitoring systems to identify issues before they happenIdentify, develop and design features to solve patterns of problems to stabilize production systemsCreate accurate DB queries that will identify affected data and rectify themBuild a deep understanding of the domain
