Job Description

    Role Description Understanding the demand requirement of customers; planning and monitoring production process; coordinating with other departments; ensuring quality check of the finished product and delivery of jewellery on time as per orderDetailed Role:Managing the production process and enable timely shipmentsUnderstand the production schedule and customers requirementsPlan , monitor and execute the production processRecord the production dataDesign of the jewellery to decide on in-house manufacturing versus outsourcingEnsure quality, time of delivery, raw material, gold procurementInteract with different department heads to firm up the planAssess, hire and coordinate with other human resources and skillsArrange for hallmarking and assaying of gold and jewellery as per customer requirement in approved testing centreEnsure daily target is metCoordinating with Cad department and rectifying Cad sketch as per standardsCoordinating with Qc head with sufficient time in handSourcing new babusMaintaining babu records, against deliverablesMaintain inventory and production records, daily production chartKeep track of gold and consumables given to each department and receivedRecord the delivery date from each departmentMonitor locker movements and interact with locker managercheck records of finished jewellery placed in safe lockerEnsure the jewellery is packed as per the companys policyEnsure jewellery hallmarkingEnsure companys stamp on jewellery manufactureProtect companys Intellectual Property Rights (IpR)Avoid infringement to copyright of other companiesExperience in design transfer from R&dSkills REQUIREDCoordination and managing different babu and factoriesCad understandingFamiliarity with jewellery software(preferred)
