Project Manager TAS PFI Water Supply Expert The opportunityEY s Project Finance team leverages global best practice methodologies to provide customized financial and business advice to Governments and Corporates around major infrastructure projects. Recognized nationally the team provide end to end project finance consultancy incorporating, project finance scoping, tender advice, due diligence, policy development and end delivery.Your key responsibilitiesProvide technical inputs for techno-economically viable designing, planning and implementation of schemes to provide household tap connections in rural areas in accordance with the objectives of JJM; Handholding States for preparation of type design of ESR/ overhead tanks, sumps, pump house, etc.; Guide States to prepare schemes, as and when required, for (a) retrofitting of the existing rural water supply infrastructure to provide FHTCs;(b) construction of new schemes for transfer of water especially Multi Village Schemes (MVS) including treatment plant, distribution networks, etc and (c) Single Village Schemes requiring specific technological interventions; Facilitate operation and maintenance of commissioned schemes by building capacities of stakeholders; Support in monitoring and review of projects in terms of physical/ financial targets and against overall monitoring parameters; Facilitate adoption of technological interventions wherever required; Attend the meetings of State Level Scheme Sanctioning Committee (SLSSC)and InterMinisterial Central Team (IMCT) and other meetings as and when directed by DDWS.Skills and attributes for successStrong Financial Modelling & Analytical skills High initiative and drive Maturity and ability to handle pressure Positive attitude and high commitment Leadership skills Professional appearance and poise High team orientation Project management/time managementTo qualify for the role you must haveB Tech Civil/ Environment/ PHE and/ or M Tech in Construction management/ Water/ Env/ Hydaulics Minimum 10 years of relevant post qualification experience in with relevant master s qualification Role is based in Delhi with base location as Aerocity Background in water supply, sewerage, grey water, STP/ WTP design will be preferred.Ideally you ll also haveAbility and willingness to travel, as needed on long term assignments across the country Excellent communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
