Job Description

Public Sector Consulting Services ManagerPosting Location : Location Remote US VAPosting date 3 days ago(6/10/2021 3:48 AM)Job ID 87386 Job summary The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Public Sector Consulting Services manager to join us. In this role, you will lead a portfolio of services engagements in support of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and system integrators (SIs). You ll be responsible for the successful sales and delivery of Red Hat Consulting engagements. As a Public Sector Consulting Services Manager, you will collaborate with the assigned sales team, our partners, and our customers to promote, scope, and implement consulting opportunities within the Red Hat solutions landscape. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. Primary job responsibilities

  • Build and manage project teams delivering IT implementation services ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Maintain responsibility for the project s plans, financials, and contractual commitments
  • Work with teams to identify, manage, and escalate risks, provide leadership, direction, and purpose, and ensure the team has what they need to deliver
  • Guide Services sales and grow assigned territory through development of internal business partnerships with the Sales team and alliance and partner programs
  • Lead negotiation and input on teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), master services agreements, and organizational conflict of interest documents
  • Develop, enable, and coach associates to excel within their roles and beyond
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) and Resource Management Office on hiring needs
Required skills
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading project teams within the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to apply expertise in technology, including in designing and delivering software systems, IT system assessments, analysis of alternatives, product selection processes, and technology strategy implementations
  • Solid written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience working with the DoD is a big plus
  • Experience working as a leader at a consulting firm is a big plus
  • Secret or higher clearance is a plus
