Job Description

    • Purchase Head [Mumbai]
    • Reporting to CEO
    • Age 32 - 45 Years
    • Any Graduate
    • MBA/PGDM preferred
    • 10-12 Years experience in Decorative Paints MUST
    • Responsible for purchase of all Domestic RM/PM.
    • Expertise in procurement of chemical for decorative paints, emulsions, extenders, T102, additives etc.
    • New Vendor Development, Price Negotiation & yearly contract, PO price Approval, Order Management, and Yearly Budgeting (RMC).
    • Developing an organizations purchasing strategy. Ensuring RM/PM procurement as per commercial terms agreed with the supplier.
    • Analyze prices quoted by suppliers, search for alternate suppliers if needed and look for options to reduce cost.
    • Communicate and follow up with the suppliers for the order execution and timely dispatches.
    • Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels.
    • Coordination for BOE filling, follow up EXIM team for clearance and preparation of technical write-up, end-use certificates and other documents required for custom clearance.
    • Coordination with R&D for development of new alternate RM for new product development.
    • Closely working with all suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
    • Ensuring closure of complaints related to quality of key materials with plant QA team
    • Remuneration & Perks Up to 35 Lac PA.
