Job Description

  • Managing and overseeing a small team of staff responsible for completion of day-to-day activities;
  • Coaching and development of the team members and managing team performance;
  • Stakeholder management across Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Technology and Regulatory Change;
  • Develop annual review plans, obtain, analyse and evaluate documentation, and prepare and present reports that reflect review results;
  • Coordinate with 2LoD and 3LoD stakeholders to discuss coordination of testing and sharing of results;
  • Support governance processes including presentation of findings and recommendations to TR Governance forum and Management; and
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the firms products and regulatory reporting obligations by staying abreast of changes and new products by attending relevant internal forums or relevant industry forums to proactively consider and assess the impact on our regulatory reporting framework.
Requirements
  • Candidates should have, at a minimum, a strong understanding of Trade and Transaction Reporting regulations (MIFiD II, EMIR, SFTR) and requirements.
  • Candidates will have knowledge of a range of financial products (e.g. Bonds, Equities, FX, Derivatives) and processes from end to end of financial operations.
  • Candidates should understand systems and controls within SCB or similar Banks. Prior experience in Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, or other Risk Management / testing functions preferred.
  • Candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people (cross border global teams). Candidates will also have excellent business and technical analytical skills and high-level problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates with previous managerial experience and having data analytics / data mining experience, in a financial services environment, would also be at an advantage for the role.
