Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesRegional Sales Manager West ( Mumbai, Goa, Ahmedabad ,Maharashtra ) Specially from Beverages IndustryPackage- 18 to 20 Lacs Job Duties:

  • Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of regional objectives.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by counselling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
To take care and be responsible for the entire business and distribution channel of Maharashtra Region.He should be a self-starter and should able to set own targets and achieve them for faster sales growth of the companies.Having strong contacts and known network of Marketing Teams, Retailers, and Distributors will be an added advantage.Managing the Sales operations of the region.People Management - Leading a team of ASMs, Key Accountant and Area Sales Executives.Sales Planning - yearly & monthly targeting for all areas along with rolling forecasting at SKU-CFA level.GTM - Ensuring organisations Go-To-Market objectives are met through proper identification, activation, and management of sub-DBs and distributors, coverage of outlets not under direct coverage.Channel Management - Ensure growth across Retail & Modern Trade channels through proper planning, execution, tracking & review of all channel specific programs.Able to take reporting of sales executive, Asm s & Key Accounts and deliver it to HOD.Should have handled institutional sales, Modern Trade & General Trade. Launching new products successfully.,
