Job Description

Come and Join us at Vestas!SBU APC > Sales APAC > Sales Operations & KAM, Strategy & MarcomVestas ASP Sales Business Unit is responsible for Sales across Asia, Australia & New Zealand. The unit sells sustainable energy solutions and service solutions into these markets and forms part of the broader Vestas Global Sales network. The WTG Sales Management department is responsible for sales operations in the respective regions, with a focus on project configuration, costing and pricing, and actively participates in the closing of multimillion-dollar contracts. Regional Sales Operations (RSO) coordinates with other internal functions to ensure value engineering solutions are systematically applied to all projects to support the sales strategies and to strengthen Vestas value propositionResponsibilities
    • Be a efficient member of the broader sales team that builds Vestas power plant(primarily wind turbines) order book and delivers sustainable growth across Asia, with a solid focus on Australia
    • Build, engineer and coordinate the project proposals, hereunder:
      • Prepare accurate wind farm configurations in our collaborative IT systems based on input from various technical and commercial stakeholders
      • Retrieve, review and improve cost assumptions and define optimization of our offerings to improve our win rate
      • Develop a thorough understanding of each new project for which a proposal is to be developed and the key buying criteria / financial metrics upon which the customer will make their purchase decision
      • Identification and mitigation of project risks
      • Coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders to perform value engineering activities
    • Perform competitive benchmarking and economic evaluates to understand our competitive positioning and inform pricing strategies
    • Secure the projects approval path through internal gate reviews by preparing and delivering compelling, high quality presentations
    • Secure the order intake by coordinating the actions of the cross functional team during contract negotiations and financial close
    • Provide regular and ad-hoc updates to senior management on the status and required actions by way of reports or live meetings/ conference call
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or similar
    • Understanding of large infrastructure project economics and financial metrics
    • Advanced innovative skills
    • Qualified people and stakeholder management skills.

    • Advanced critical skills with previous experience with solving complex techno-commercial tasks
    • Skilled commercial understanding and financial literacy
    • Work effectively in a cross functional, geographically dispersed team while maintaining accountability for your tasks
    • Ability to identify, quantify and coordinate risks in large infrastructure projects
    • Efficient people and stakeholder management skills
    • Skilled written and verbal communication skills
