Technology redefines how we do business in global, complex and dynamic financial markets.About the Department / Super DepartmentTreasury department at Morgan Stanley manages the funding for the firm while ensuring the firm has adequate liquidity for covering any liquidity risks. As a technology team, we build and own the products that are leveraged by Treasury for running stress simulations on firm positions across business units. We own multi-terabyte data warehouse and state of the art middle tier services that takes in the Firms global positions and processes through various Liquidity metrics calculation. Job Responsibilities :

  • Designing and developing server side components that meet the business requirements in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Directly interfacing with business users in understanding the requirement and providing solutions.
  • Assisting & guiding team members in design and development.
  • Partnering along with the leads to identify and mitigate risks and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Ensure code quality and automated testing standards, be a part of regular code reviews and ensure quality gates are upheld and enhanced.

  • 3-6 years of work experience in software development.
Technical skills- Mandatory o Experience in Functional Programing using ScalaoSpark, Big Data/Hadoop implementation using Scala/Javao Experience with Core Java J2SE, Spring, JUnit,o Good Problem solving and analytical skillso Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work with the global team, and manage time and tasks effectively and independently. Skills DesiredDB Proficient in SQL Devops Jenkins, BDD (Concordion/Cucumber)
