Job Description

    Roles and ResponsibilitiesRole DescriptionDevelop and maintain the information security policy and accompanying standards,procedures and guidancePlanned compliance reviews and ensure any gaps are addressedInvestigate suspected and actual security incidents in accordance with the security incidentmanagement standardProduce and share reports to internal teams on incidents, threats, risks and vulnerabilitiesContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Role ExpectationsSafeguard information system assetsProtect systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.Identify abnormalities and report violations.Upgrades the system by implementing and maintaining security controls.Role Criteria4-5 years of experience in Information SecurityBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent educationExperience of ramping up a startup from 0-1 OR worked in a MAANG companyExperience with vulnerability scanning solutionsFamiliarity with the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program.Proficiency with any of the following: Anti-Virus, HIPS, ID/PS, Full Packet Capture, Host-Based Forensics, Network Forensics, and RSA SecurityIn-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering, and operations of at least one enterpriseSIEM platform (e.g. Nitro/McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, ArcSight, QRadar, LogLogic,Splunk)Advanced certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, CISSP or CASP and/or SIEM-specifictraining and certification
