Job Description

Job Roles & Responsibilities:Third Party Due Diligence
• Preparing short and long business intelligence reports.
• Conducting research using a variety of other online sources, especially commercial registries and corporate databases in a variety of countries and languages.
• Reports also involve highlighting issues in relation to politically exposed persons, any political connections, state owned entities, frauds, bribery, kickbacks and other compliance issues.
• Serve clients across various industries
Project Management
• Plan and execute tasks own effectively
• Ensure all deadlines are met, independently following up on open work items
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of time and expenses
• Support supervisors in responding to client requests promptly
• Balance competing priorities
• Maintain organized working files and knowledge of project documents and information
• Willing to stretch and switch contexts
Problem Solving
• Demonstrate insight when identifying and resolving project issues
• Develop solutions that require less input from a supervisor and takes responsibility in resolving the issue
• Supports or draft responses to issues raised by client
• Identify project challenges and inconsistencies or errors in the project report and source material
• Review documents/information to identify items relevant to investigation or dispute consulting matter
• Compile and analyze facts to formulate, substantiate and/or critique various hypothesis / theories, claims and/or conclusions to support the evidence
Delivery Excellence
• Provide high quality and complete work product, treating all work product as client deliverables
• Achieve zero-defect deliverables through quality controls on own work
• Seek clarification when necessary and work efficiently
• Support project setup and management tasks, aiding the development of junior team members
• Act independently while on project, aiming to take basic leadership roles
• Create more complete work product
• Identify challenges and suggest solutions on project
Team Work
• Proactively ensure that skills and capabilities of the team are growing
• Develop constructive working relationships with the team and assist team during time crunch

• Look for potential hires in personal and professional networks and actively supports firm recruiting events

• Prepare clear, accurate and sufficiently detailed written work such as memos to file, emails and work product
• Articulate ideas in confident and concise manner
• Concise and effective written communication with high level of clarity and quality
• Ensure written work is appropriate and sufficiently detailed, well organized, with sources cited as appropriate
• Create professional presentations and financial schedules
• Prepares high-quality slides and decks
Qualifications:
• MBA/B. A /B. Com (e.g., accounting degree or economics degree)
Experience :
• Required
• 2 5 years in combination of auditing, forensic accounting, investigation and/or litigation consulting
• Preferred
  • Experience in Big 4/public accounting firm
