Job Description

    The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professional s trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley s Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across FID and Institutional Equities Division (IED) ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe role is based out of Mumbai and requires working with the Japan FID Sales Team. The role will require a fast-learning, dynamic, pro-active and self-motivated person to assist the team in day to day activities. Job DescriptionCapture the trades of Fixed Income and Derivatives, and confirm the accuracy of sales trade bookingsWork with Sales and Operations for the quick resolution of trade/settlement related issuesPrepare the expense report and coordinate it with APMaintenance of propriety databases and input the data such as client and trade detailsHelp preparing presentations for internal/external meetingsSimple translationSupport the client or recruiting eventsOther ad-hoc tasks in order to support Tokyo FID activities, *Skills required (essential)
    • Graduate/MBA with 0-1 year experience in FID business would be preferable
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint
    • High degree of attention to detail
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Proactiveness towards learning and executing tasks
    • Fluency in Japanese language would be preferred
    • Work timing: 5.30am IST to 2.30pm IST (negotiable)
