Job Description

    We are looking for individuals that have a strong curiosity and passion for learning new things, while continuously challenging oneself to build things better and more scalable. The Production Support Engineer will be responsible for identifying and responding to process improvement and small-scale break fix activities between the Automation and Application Support teams. Primary Responsibilities
    • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles
    • Develop and document self service and automated solutions using a variety of tools
    • Follow established procedures for managing business risk when updating production systems
    • Create and update process automation
    • Participate in projects that enhance or upgrade Parametric systems or employee experience
    • Engage with the monitoring team to implement actionable monitors across key systems
    • Work with change management across applications and automations to identify and implement efficiencies
    , * Job QUALIFICATIONS SKILL SET Required Experience: 2+ yearsSkill set: DevOps / Production Support Primary Skills
    • Experience with SQL including writing and understanding queries
    • Experience supporting a 24/7 environment.
    • Experience with DevOps practices including Octopus, JIRA, Confluence or equivalent platforms.
    • Scripting/automation and continuous improvement experience
    • Experience with Python, Powershell and VB
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills targeted to a variety of audiences including technical and non-technical users
    • Experience with Microsoft Forms and Power Automate
    • Experience supporting a Windows based environment including basic server administration
    • Experience with Linux/UNIX based platforms is a plus
    • Patience and attention to detail is essential
    • Financial industry experience is a plus
    • Experience working with API s
    • Experience with monitoring platforms such as DataDog is a plus
