This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesAbout the team:You will become part of the product chapter of an Agile tribe working on CCIB Credit Transformation programme; your primary area of focus will be the Advanced Analytics workstream. Credit Transformation is a key strategic agenda for CCIB to uplift the core credit platform, drive end-to-end digitization and deliver a fully digitized, data driven Credit Origination model, leveraging internal & external data, and machine learning capabilities.We are a business-first team with diverse skillset across coverage, risk, product management and technology, who work with frontline and Credit SMEs to find data and analytics driven solutions to business problems and are ably supported by data scientists, BAs, ML engineers, developers and QA testers from our squads.We have an open, collaborative culture within the team, and are enthusiastic about driving towards a fully digitalized Credit process from origination to monitoring. You ll find pantomaths who ll happily engage in discussions from cars to computer games to technicalities of coffee brewing.The Advanced Analytics workstream is a big part of this agenda, and works to leverage Machine Learning, deep learning and visual analytics to deliver products that drive better business outcomes. Some work products delivered by the workstream include a comprehensive Credit Analytics BI solution and a multi-platform Decision Insights ML product (E2E incl. data ingestion, transformation, prediction, presentation).Upcoming work involves improving and evolving the Decision Insights model, incorporating credit stress prediction with Credit Analytics, working on Entity Resolution techniques for transactions, Adverse media screening and text abstraction/summarization for analyst reports, news articles and qualitative credit application writeups.The Role ResponsibilitiesThis role will support the Advanced Analytics workstream of the Credit Transformation programme, and will involve working on both descriptive analytics (maintaining and enhancing the Credit Analytics application) as well as predictive analytics (Decision Insights, credit stress prediction solutions, Entity resolution, abstractive text summarization). The BA will be responsible for supporting the product manager in analysis, documentation and project management activities.

• Work collaboratively with Product Management and the Delivery Team to support the success of the required Project/Programme
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
• Engage cross-functional teams, develop a thorough understanding of system ecosystem and architecture relating to Credit Origination and Transaction processing.
• Requirement management
  • Create Epics, user stories and tasks, review technical specs
  • Prioritize and maintain the backlog of Epics, User stories on JIRA; track squad resource allocation, release tagging, workflow progression etc. and maintain a Rapidboard view for concise reporting of work status at any point of time
  • Have a benefit tradeoff view for all items on the backlog so it is possible to perform quick impact assessment when switching items
• Development and deployment management
  • Work with UX design team and SMEs to streamline the existing Credit Analytics UI and Ui design for future products
  • Write test scenarios, engage users and perform UAT and UVT for releases, to ensure acceptance criteria are met for shipped functionality. Raise defects and track to resolution.
• User training and commercialization
  • Prepare training material, maintain the Bridge page, prepare user comms and work with the central comms team for design and distribution of comms.
  • Set up meetings and deliver user training, prepare FAQs
  • Support the engagement of key stakeholders across Front line, Risk, Policy etc.
• Issue analysis and resolution
  • Ad-hoc issue investigation with squad, resolution, communication of fix date to users
  • Engage stakeholders and escalate as necessary to expedite work
• Documentation and governance
  • Ensure all process governance standards are met and required artefacts are produced and archived
  • Engage with Operational Risk, Business and tech compliance, Responsible AI council, process owners, ICS and any other stakeholder teams as necessary to ensure the project has all necessary approvals for deployment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Banking / Finance / Management from a reputable university
• Fast learner with a curious mind. Techno-functional, with domain knowledge of banking, specifically cash/trade/lending products or credit/market risk, and technology including APIs and gateways, data streaming, Machine Learning, data models
• 8+ years of product delivery and business implementation delivery or management both at scale and volume either global or regional coverage, supporting multiple impacted business functions within a multinational bank. Preferably in corporate banking or financial markets.
• Experience in deliveries using Agile methodology. Project Management Experience.
• Demonstrable experience of managing or influencing multiple teams across locations
• Sound knowledge of corporate and commercial Credit process would be preferred
• Product Owner Experience is Desirable
• Able to read and summarise technical and governance documents into key action points
• Advanced knowledge of SQL. Comfortable querying and manipulating data in Oracle, PostGres and Hive tables.
• Proficient in using MS Office apps like Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Visio
• Experience using wireframing tools like Balsamiq, Invision, and process mapping tools like Visio
