Job Description

As a Senior Backend Developer, You will be involved in designing and implementing web/cloud applications. You will be responsible for designing, programming and technically guiding the team. You will be working on enterprise-scale/complex project that require you to connect the business needs and domain with technical knowledge. Job location :Mumbai

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing Developing backend services.
  • Connecting the business needs and domain with technical knowledge to build enterprise-scale project.
  • Providing technical coaching to team members, design/code reviews
  • Implementing best practices for scalable and maintainable code, making technology choices.
  • Demonstrating the clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions.
  • Understanding whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in some areas.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a graduate with 7 plus years experience in backend development experience in Web/Cloud application development.
  • Be proficient in back-end development using Node.js or Java, JavaScript/Typescript and implement Micro-services and docker/containerization.
  • Be able to design and develop RESTful services APIs using REST, XML, JSON, API gateway
  • Be proficient in Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and awareness of managed services like PostgreSQL, Redis, is a plus but not essential.
  • Be proficient in Angular/React, HTML, CSS, jQuery, .Net Core, AWS/Azure is a plus but not essential.
  • Be aware of product security, secure SDLC, OWASP, secure coding, threat modelling is desired but not essential.
