Job Description

    We have been retained by a fast growing and highly reputed Pharma company to Hire Senior Business Development Manager - In Licensing . Details of the position are mentioned below:
    • Company: Our client is a highly reputed and fast growing Pharma company that has created a special name for itself in the field of Critical care products, oncology & Anesthesia products. The company has very respectable presence in Indian as well as international markets
    • Designation: Senior Business Development Manager - In Licensing
    • Job Location: Mumbai (Western Suburbs)
    • Reporting To: AVP Business Alliances - In Licensing
    • Must Requirements in Job role (Knowledge/Experience/Qualification)
    1. Creating new opportunities for growing the business, organically and inorganically through in licensing of products for companies entry into Pharma emerging markets of SRA & Europe2. Building comprehensive business case for product opportunities of tech transfer / site transfer including an overview of all development/ launch activities3. Coordinating with R&D, Tech Support and PMO and other stakeholders in product development and regulatory filings. Getting product from R&D level to market4. Assisting the product team in identifying / evaluating new drug / value added generic targets from a marketing perspective (NPV analysis)5. Taking ownership of existing portfolio of new businesses, making recommendations on which ones have the most upside, developing the supporting business plans, and most importantly, executing to get them to market6. In conjunction with product management identify new applications for existing product lines -drive the internal growth of the company7. Good analytical, Communication skills, Planning & organizing and business acumen.8. Result orientation9. Total Experience: 10 - 12 Yrs.10. Exposure in B2B / CMO business / CRO11. Qualification: B. Pharm or B.Sc. with MBA in Marketing
    • Threshold Requirement in the Job role (additional but not mandatory)
    1. Should have experience in business development in from CRAMS / out licensing companies in India and abroad2. Will be up to date with industry and competitor activities in Pharma emerging markets and will have a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements in these markets.3. Strong collaboration and networking with industry KOLs and business thought leaders4. Astute business acumen, including strategic financial planning and Ability to guide teams efforts and energies in R&D projects and initiatives
    • Expected Output (Quantitative/Qualitative) from the role in current or next 1 year
    1. Building a strong business pipeline for 1 to 2 years2. Developing energetic team3. Meeting the 1 - 2 years budgeted target,
