Job Description

    Direct Sales Senior DirectorFrom developing brand new accounts to driving expansion across existing accounts, our Direct Sales team transforms opportunity into action every day. They are the direct line between our ground-breaking portfolio of product solutions and the desks of satisfied customers.Join us as a Senior Director on our Outside Sales/Direct Sales team in Mumbai - India to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.To create new business and develop existing accounts for Dell- the individual must be well versed with the geography and should be capable of understanding the customer s business drivers, business issues, and objectives so she/ he can translate and articulate Dell value propositions at all levels of the customers business. Crucial for success is the candidate s ability to work with and drive diverse teams. The incumbent will be responsible for driving Team revenue and margin targets; managing P&L for the region and delivering strong financial results.What you ll achieveYou will manage all sales operations for an organization or business while building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships at a strategic level.You will:
    • Responsible for managing environments suited to instill best practices across all key Accounts - achieve sales goals and objectives. Implement strategic direction of the direct sales organization, driving strategic account management and business pipeline development. Understand the market in which the company and our competitors operate in, including our business/industry in general, and use that knowledge to plan future strategic customer engagements
    • Identify and pursue sales opportunities at assigned accounts. Drive new business by leveraging both industry and technical background. Must have a point of view on the topics of interest to West Corporate customers.
    • Oversee sales managers and their teams. Provide direction, development, and inspiration to the team members in the organization
    • Drive new business by leveraging both industry and technical background.
    • Use knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on Dell Technologies value proposition. Lead and mentor a diverse team to deliver sales and margin targets. Drives strategic account management and pipeline development and potentially has a country manager or site lead responsibilities

    • 17 to 20 years of relevant experience with a bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • 7 years of Managerial experience in Sales based in Mumbai. Should have exposure to strategic planning, general management, and people leadership skills
    • Should have existing relationships in large conglomerates based out of Mumbai s CXO relationships are a must. Experience in Solution Sales
    • A team player who must exhibit an ability to integrate the immediate and extended teams towards the same goal and the ability to focus on and manage short-term and long-term goals and exhibit a Growth mindset and very high levels of integrity
