Job Description

  • Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
  • Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site
  • Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site is as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
  • Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports.
  • Checks the correct preparation of reinforcements.
  • Ensure the correct curing operations for casted structures.
  • Checks the concreting works, slump test and cubes preparation for the compressive test.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to Clients requirements.
  • Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site i.e. Pile, Pile cap, Pier, Pier cap, Girders, Roadworks etc.
  • Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on Precast Yard i.e. Pier cap casting, U-Girders Casting and Stressing, Repair works of structures etc.
  • Executes the specific inspections on Architectural & finishing materials of Station work i.e., block, plaster, painting, tiling, ceiling and light fittings etc.,
  • Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
  • Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
  • Develop a method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
  • Knowledge of International Organization for Standardization quality systems
  • Ensure that contractor perform site internal and external site audits
  • Assist with staff to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
  • Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyses all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.
  • Report to the QA/QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to Quality.

  • Should be Graduate in B.E/B. Tech (Preferred Civil Engineer Degree)
  • Total 10 Years of Exp after Degree
  • Knowledge of International Organization for Standardization quality systems
  • Preferably have Exp in Heavy Construction (Metro, Industrial, high-rise building etc)
  • Knowledge of International Organization for Standardization quality systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
