Job Description

    *The Role Responsibilities Job Role The position is for a Senior Manager (Band 6) to discharge activities in the areas of Release Management / Infrastructure as primary KRA and Development, Delivery as secondary KRA.Key Responsibilities
    • Involving all stake holder teams to validate and deploy (test and production) deliveries.
    • Monitor and support environments including Network, WAS / JBoss, DB and OS
    • Pro-active identification and resolution of issues (environment, application).
    • Taking care of the configuration management side of software releases
    • Pro-actively identify and develop tools as needed for the job
    • Software development * deliveries (in-house and Vendor).
    • Support automation initiatives by developing scripts
    • Handle infrastructure needs of test environments.
    • Ensure the process is adhered to at every stage.
    • Keep teams informed of right status

    • Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
    • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.
    Key Stakeholders
    • FSS Management, FSS Custody Squad, PSS and other infra related key vendors and stakeholders.
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • Bachelor s in Engineering or equivalent IT Degree
    • 10 - 15 years of experience
    • Hands-on working experience in Java Application (Java development not a must).
    • Knowledge on other middleware applications like web sphere WAS / JBoss, MQ.
    • Basic knowledge on Custody / Securities Services Application. - Good to have
    • DevOps (Jenkins, Ansible, Github) exposure / experience - (A must).
    • Knowledge on other script language (Perl, Python)
    • Working experience in Linux Platform (A must).
    • Advanced level knowledge on database SQLs.
    • Shell scripting knowledge (a must).
    Role Specific Technical Competencies
    • DevOps tools Ansible / Git / bitbucket / Jenkins / rundeck - Advance and real time project support Docker and Kubernetes Intermediate level
    • Hands-on working experience in Java Application / Web sphere, JBOSS / middleware applications
    • Basic knowledge on Custody / Securities Services Application
    • Knowledge on other script language (perl, python, jython)
    • Working experience in Linux Platform
    • Knowledge on database SQLs
    Infra and Networking Advance
    • Right attitude and willing to walk the extra mile of needed
    • Willing to support changes (during weekends)
    • Good communication skills
